Business Development Manager

Project Management

  • Provide oversight to Leadership and Clients to ensure that tasks and Projects are completed on time to hit our objectives and goals.  You’ll be a Leader in a fast-paced, growing environment where multiple initiatives are being executed and worked on at one time.

  • Provide Leadership that mirrors the Mission and Core Values of The MJW Group.  

  • Foster a professional, accountable environment within The MJW Group, while also maintaining the Transparent Culture we’ve created with our Team.

  • Develop Project Plans and Execution work paths.

  • Lead Live Ideation and Project Sessions.  

Sales

  • Be The Brand Ambassador Champion for The MJW Group and echo our Mission and Vision into the marketplace.  Find opportunities to educate Small Businesses, Entrepreneurs, Corporations, and Enterprises about our Brand.

  • Collaborate directly with Leadership to build credibility and awareness of The MJW Group services and products by building relationships with potential Clients via phone, in-person visits, email, or other tools.

  • Implement sales strategies utilizing service and product knowledge to generate revenue.

  • Develop Sales Processes to convert leads generated from several marketing sources to close new business.

  • Execute proposals and present them to potential Clients as opportunities are developed and discussed. 

  • Ability to negotiate contracts and Client Agreements pre and post-proposal phase.

  • Oversee and facilitate the on-boarding of new Clients.

Technical Execution

  • Research and suggest innovative Best Practices for delivering automation and Technological enablement for Clients and The MJW Group.

  • Deliver Business Operation Infrastructure and Technological Innovation improvements for Clients and The MJW Group to ensure operational efficiencies, visibility, Cohesiveness, and Transparency of Services and Products.

  • Champion the delivery of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, and Infographics.

  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of operations and systems within the Sales Function.  Provides timely reports on the operating conditions of the Company.

  • Assist Leadership in auditing Internal Processes to provide a seamless experience for our Clients. 

  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and Processes between Leadership and prospective Clients.

  • Vendor Management (Operational, Preferred (Includes Professional Services), and Community).

Entrepreneurial Mindset

  • The Business Development Manager Leads the Program Manager Focus within the Enterprise on the Strategic Operation Outlook and Productivity.

  • Drives Cross-Functional Enterprise communications and Accountability across Value Streams, Affiliates Relationships, and Community Engagements that centers focus towards optimal Productivity.

  • Mentor Program Managers And Departmental Leaders on correct monthly P&L, Budget, and Resource Reporting.

  • Motivates Internal Team on reaching Team and Individual Sales Goals.

  • Responsible for Creating and Maintaining Measurement Systems, KPIs, and Metrics to hold Team Members Accountable for Revenue Generating Objectives. 

  • Promotes Equitable Solutions and Enablement work paths for Internal Team and Clients.

Customer Service

  • Manage incoming Client inquiries by email.

  • Sending emails to Clients and/or potential Clients.

  • Maintain an on-going list of potential Clients in ClickUp or Google Drive.

  • Manage the relationship of existing Clients by following-up and/or offering other products and services as an upsell.

Recruiting Internal Team and Client Facing

  • Manage Internal Team Member acquisition philosophies, strategy, and outreach initiatives.

  • Champion the ideation of new resource channels.

  • Build new pipelines for Potential Clients’ Open Role requirements.

  • Ensure we stay current with the fulfillment of existing Clients’ Open Role requirements.

  • Survey emerging opportunities for The MJW Group to leverage new and existing partnerships with National and Regional recruiting events and Organizations.

Your Skills

  • You understand the different functions of a business, such as Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supporting, Coaching, Mentoring, and Training a Team. 

  • Ideally, you’re familiar with Project Management and Team communication tools like ClickUp, Slack, and Zoom.  However, we’re also open to other solutions and tools you prefer. 

  • You’re resourceful.  No problem or circumstance is going to keep you from hitting your goals.  You’ll find a way to make things happen.  

  • You can see both the Big Picture Vision and the intimate details that make it all happen. But overall, you’re extremely detail oriented.  

  • You know how to prioritize and manage multiple projects with different People at one time. 

  • You have great interpersonal skills both in person and by phone.  You also express strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • You have a creative approach to problem solving and utilizing The MJW Group Team to execute ideas to solve the Client’s business pains.

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree
